Infrastructure projects involve road widening, land development and construction of roads, bridges, and railways. During site preparation, there are cases that mountain side obstruction is encountered, thus excavation and trimming of its sides has to be addressed in a certain slope angle to minimize setbacks. By doing so, the trimmed mountain side has to be stable by providing different slope protection system depending on its actual condition. Mainly, the solution requires drilling for anchorage of the Rock Bolts, Ground Anchor or Soil Nail and installation of surface protection such as active or passive rockfall protection net. Whereas, other solution requires construction of gabion walls and or laying of erosion mats or coconets with planting and vetiver grasses.
